Orelle Corporation is a technology company dedicated to the principle that computers should be easy to use and, when used in business, should be profitable. That is, we believe that if the profitability of a technology solution cannot be convincingly argued beforehand, then the technology should not be purchased and used. New technology is not always the solution. Companies that embrace new technology for its own sake actually risk weakening their positions in the market place. The only technology that strengthens a company is that which can focus on increased profits.

To that end, Orelle offers on-call consulting services to small businesses in the Chicago, Illinois area, helping customers to identify and implement technology (new and old) which comfortably fits the business needs and culture and which grows with the company.

My name is Philip Cain . I own the company which was incorporated in 1990. I have been building and managing information systems for 20 years. Those systems include a variety of financial, distribution, marketing, inventory and sales systems. You can find out more about me from my resume.

I also write and sell software. My personal technical interests are user interfaces and database applications. In addition to software I write for my consulting customers, I have produced two shareware programs for genealogists. You can read about and download those programs from the KinQuest page.
