Orelle Corporation offers web authoring services for $US 40 per hour. This introductory domestic rate is offered to everyone, but is especially suited for companies who want their first web presence.
The first web site for any business should meet several goals quickly:
You say when the time starts and ends and you decide which of our services
to use. We can do it all for you or we can do just those parts you want to
source out to us.
The next step depends in part on the range of services you want, but generally you will provide us with text material and art or graphics that you want in your web pages. Then we will design one or more pages to present that information. You will then review the page(s) and tell us about changes you want. We will go back and forth like this until you are satisfied that the pages meet your requirements. Only then will we publish the pages.
The next step, of course, is to maintain the page(s). From time to time you
may want changes which we are ready to make at any time. We will perform other
services, too, like handling the actual publication by updating your pages
at your web provider or getting you started on the road to maintaining your
pages yourself. As always, our only goal is your success on the web and you
get to say how you want that done.
At all times, you own the material that you send to us. That includes all the text and artwork or graphics. We will never own any part of it and you give us the license to use that material only in your web site and only at your direction. We may never use that material otherwise without your written permission. Without that permission, we are bound to keep all such information confidential whether you use it on your site or not. There is one caveat: You must have the right to give us such material. For example, you must have the copyright for or license to use any artwork you send us.
Initially, we own the web pages themselves. That means that you may not copy or publish the pages outside of your web site without our permission. Of course, this prohibition does not apply to those elements you sent us, which you may publish otherwise as you wish.
We retain ownership to protect our own authorship and to protect the rights of those who own elements we might add to your web site. At Orelle, we conform strictly to the requirements of the law. We will use materials in your web site only if we have the right to do so. But our rights to put something (a graphical image, for example) on your web site does necessarily mean that you or anyone else is entitled to copy and use that material. This is consistent with the treatment of advertising. If you took a full page ad out in a magazine like Newsweek, you may still have to get their permission to reproduce that ad, even though it is an ad for your company.
We can transfer ownership to you, if you wish. If you wanted to take
over the maintenance of a web page that we produced, it is possible to transfer
ownership to you and, in such a case, we would do whatever was necessary to
make that transfer quickly and completely. We would review all the elements
of the page that were protected by copyright and help you acquire rights to
any elements you wanted to keep and to eliminate any elements you didn't want.
Thanks for stopping by.
